Free Ice Cream Promotion

Free ice cream all semester? Yes, please!

UMaine Dining is excited to offer a special meal plan promotion from August 31- September 14! To celebrate the launch of our newest venue, 32 Degrees Ice Cream at Union Central in the Memorial Union, students who purchase a qualifying commuter meal plan before the September 14 deadline will receive a punch card for FREE ice cream every week of the fall semester!   • 25 Plan: 25 visits to York & Hilltop Dining, 1 guest meal
  • 50 Plan: 50 visits to York & Hilltop Dining, 2 guest meal
  • 85 Flex Plan: 85 visits to York & Hilltop Dining, $900 meal plan dollars, 2 guest meals
  • Graduate/DTAV Plan: $665 meal plan dollars

Fill out this Google form to have a meal plan charged to your student account or visit our e-commerce website to purchase with a credit/debit card.

  • After purchasing an eligible commuter meal plan, please email um.dining@maine.edu with your proof of purchase if you paid through our e-commerce site using a credit or debit card. If you submitted the Google Form to have the meal plan charged to your student account, please include your name and student ID number so we can verify your purchase.
  • Once your purchase has been confirmed, we will provide details on where to pick up your punch card. A photo ID (MaineCard accepted) will be required at pickup.
  • Punch cards will only be given to those who purchase eligible meal plans from 8/31 – 9/14.
  • Punch cards are valid from Monday, August 31st (first day of classes) through Friday, December 11th (last day of classes).
  • Participants are eligible to receive 1-2 scoops of ice cream in a cone or cup with choice of 1 topping, syrup, or garnish at the 32 Degrees location in Union Central (Memorial Union). Additional toppings, sundaes, milkshakes and floats are not included in this promotion.
  • Each weekly ice cream must be redeemed within the designated week. Any missed weeks cannot be carried over or redeemed at a later date. Participants are responsible for staying informed on special hours such as weather-related closures and university break hours. Check our website for the most up-to-date hours.
  • Lost punch cards will not be replaced.
